ATG Access Titan MK II Bollard - Automatic, static & manually operable

BGI has partnered with ATG Access to manufacture Titan MK II Bollards under license. ATG Access Titan MK II Bollards are PAS 68 crash certified bollards, stopping a 7500kg vehicle traveling at 80 km/hr. These bollards are ideal for high security locations.

Brief Overview:

The Titan MK II is a PAS 68, crash certified bollard which provides pedestrian permeability and is available in a variety of operating sets and arrays. Utilising the highest cycle duties available, the Titan MK II bollard is an economical and effective way of protecting your key access points.

The Titan MK II successfully arresting a 7500kg vehicle travelling at 80km/h (50mph). The product is also tested to DOS standards, achieving a K12 rating.

Decorative sleeves are available, and construction allows for a decorative paver covering the concrete foundation if required. The product is available with an automatic operation, a manually retractable or fixed option. All steel parts are standard, hot dipped and galvanized for corrosion protection.

Applications that this product will protect:

This product is versatile and can be used to protect multiple applications. The Titan Mk II 'Independence' model can be manually retracted using a hand held, battery operated drill. This makes this particular model suitable for remote applications with no access to a power supply.

The automatic bollards are powered by an electro-hydraulic mechanism.

110 - 240 VAC (compressor and electro-hydraulic)

A range of advanced safety features are available to ensure peace of mind and avoid unintended operation:

  • Inductive loop vehicle detectors installed in the road.
  • Photo-electric cells to further ensure that the bollards are not in motion while something is passing.
  • LED lights on the bollards and traffic lights by the road to indicate when it is safe/unsafe to pass or when the bollards are in motion.
  • Sirens to indicate that the bollards are in motion.
  • Speed bumps to slow down approaching traffic.
